CentaCare Wilcannia-Forbes established in 1996 and is the official social service of the Catholic Church of the Diocese of Wilcannia-Forbes, which covers the western 52 per cent of New South Wales.
Offices are located in Bathurst, Bourke, Brewarrina, Broken Hill, Cobar, Condobolin, Dubbo, Forbes, Lake Cargelligo, Narromine, Nyngan, Orange, Parkes, and Wilcannia with staff offering a diverse range of programs and services to individuals, families and communities with outreach services to many communities.
CentaCare Wilcannia-Forbes provides a broad range of programs and services to encourage and support people living in western NSW, adapting services in response to specific needs, and developing collaborative partnerships to strengthen the capacity for rural and remote communities.
To be a strong contender, you will need to be a proven leader with experience as a CEO or senior executive in either a not-for-profit organisation or government environment with the ability to lead the team in accordance with CentaCare’s values, culture and philosophy. You will also need to be a strategic thinker and change manager with outstanding energy and drive to deliver results in a dynamic and complex environment, and have a strong passion for the delivery of social services. As the CEO, your key responsibilities will include supporting the Board, managing financial and human resources, governance and risk management, stakeholder engagement and the identification and development of funding and partnership opportunities.
CentaCare is a Public Benevolent Institution and a competitive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant based on their skills and experience.
As CentaCare Wilcannia-Forbes covers a large geographic area the role requires travel to regional locations, a vehicle, accommodation and reasonable relocation costs to Forbes will also be negotiated.
